You may be aware that in early 2017 Warringah Council initiated a survey of birds in the lagoon and riparian areas. For five years a small team of volunteers has maintained a schedule of monthly observation sessions at the lagoon. Leading participant Russell Beardmore has now completed an analysis of the survey data and written a report available here on our website. The report was prepared with the assistance of team members Alicia Parmiter and Dana Lanceman.
Survey activities are to continue and will be reported under Bird Count Survey on our website.
